AGCO is showcasing its latest advancements in autonomy, artificial intelligence (AI), and mixed-fleet connectivity during its annual Tech Day, held at Stewart Farms near Yorkville, outside Chicago, Illinois. Demonstrated during the fall harvest, these technologies are designed to help farmers boost productivity, improve operational efficiency, and maximize profitability throughout the crop cycle.
“Farmers judge technology by what it returns, not by what it promises,” said Eric Hansotia, AGCO’s Chairman, President, and CEO. “At Tech Day, we are demonstrating autonomy, AI, and connected solutions in the real-world conditions farmers face every day, helping them generate more value from every pass across the field.”
AGCO’s PTx precision agriculture solutions are built to operate seamlessly across different equipment brands and machine models. Distributed through a dedicated technology channel designed to accelerate adoption –combining specialized PTx dealers, AGCO machine dealers, and direct OEM partnerships – AGCO delivers both retrofit and factory-fit solutions. This approach enables farmers to connect mixed fleets, leverage their farm data effectively, and extract greater value from their existing machinery.

Key innovations demonstrated across the crop cycle by AGCO
Throughout the event, AGCO is demonstrating how its connected ecosystem works cohesively from planning and planting to crop protection, harvest, and ongoing service support:
- Farm Management & AI Insights:
- PTx FarmENGAGE™ connects multi-brand, mixed fleets within a single digital platform.
- The Panorama intelligence platform transforms operational and agronomic data into actionable insights.
- Aurora, AGCO’s AI assistant integrated into Panorama, allows farmers to query their data via voice or text to instantly access critical maps, reports, and agronomic decisions.
- Precision Planting: Momentum planters, ArrowTube, and Panorama collaborate to optimize seed placement and foster uniform crop emergence.
- Targeted Weed Control: The Fendt Rogator 900, powered by AI-enabled SymphonyVision technology, performs targeted precision spraying on individual weeds, significantly reducing chemical usage and input costs.
- Harvest & Logistics Autonomy: Fall harvest, grain handling, tillage, and fertilizer application often overlap within a tight 6-to-8-week window, making labor shortages a critical bottleneck. At Tech Day, a Fendt IDEAL combine operates in tandem with PTx’s retrofit autonomy solution, OutRun, managing autonomous grain carts for harvest logistics and tillage. Simultaneously, a Fendt Rogator applies next-season fertilizer behind the harvest, incorporating nutrients before runoff occurs, allowing farmers to complete more jobs on schedule with their available crew.
- FarmerCore Service Model: AGCO’s customer-centric distribution model pairs over-the-air updates and remote diagnostics with expanded on-farm service to minimize machine downtime and deliver technical expertise directly to the field.
How will these new technologies be brought to market?
The technologies presented at Tech Day are either currently available commercially or rapidly progressing toward full commercial availability. Farmers can explore these solutions through their local Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra, or PTx dealer networks.
“Our Farmer-First strategy starts with giving farmers more choice in how they adopt technology,” Hansotia added. “Whether through the equipment they already own, their preferred brands, or their trusted dealer relationships, AGCO is committed to making practical innovation accessible and highly valuable in the field.”
