The agreement will see Huntraco take responsibility for the distribution of Faresin’s complete telescopic-handler portfolio across Hungary, targeting customers in agriculture, construction, industry and logistics. The partnership also includes technical support, spare-parts supply, operator assistance and specialist training, reflecting the Italian manufacturer’s strategy of combining product development with a strong local service network.

A stronger foothold in the Hungarian market

For Faresin, the agreement represents another step in its international expansion strategy, aimed at reinforcing its presence in key European markets through established distribution partners.

Based in Breganze, northern Italy, Faresin Industries specialises in the development and manufacture of telescopic handlers and livestock equipment. Its product portfolio includes conventional telescopic handlers alongside the Full Electric range, designed to provide zero-emission operation at the point of use in applications where noise reduction and environmental performance are increasingly important.

Through Huntraco, Faresin will gain access to an established commercial infrastructure and a customer base spanning several industries, with particular opportunities in agricultural material handling, construction sites, industrial facilities and logistics operations.

The Hungarian distributor operates from five locations across the country. Its headquarters are in Budaörs, near Budapest, with regional branches in Békéscsaba, Kaposújlak, Nyíregyháza and Szombathely. This geographical coverage provides direct access to customers throughout Hungary’s main agricultural and industrial regions.

Nationwide sales and technical support

A central element of the agreement is Huntraco’s after-sales organisation, which will support the introduction of the Faresin range into the Hungarian market.

The company employs approximately 48 service technicians and 12 specialised engineers, alongside a sales team of around 20 professionals. Its activities cover equipment sales, maintenance, spare parts, rental services and used machinery.

With around 150 employees, Huntraco reported net revenues of HUF 15.64 billion (approximately €38.1 million) in 2024.This infrastructure is expected to play an important role in supporting Faresin customers, particularly in applications where machine availability, maintenance efficiency and rapid access to spare parts are essential to daily operations.

Growth opportunities across multiple sectors

The new partnership is intended to strengthen Faresin’s competitiveness in a market where telescopic handlers are increasingly used for a broad range of lifting, loading and material-handling tasks.

In agriculture, these machines are employed for handling bulk materials, loading trailers, moving bales and supporting livestock operations. Their versatility also makes them suitable for construction, industrial and logistics applications, where lifting performance, manoeuvrability and operational flexibility are key requirements.

According to Silvia Faresin, Vice President of Faresin Industries, Huntraco’s market experience and established service organisation provide a solid foundation for expanding the brand’s presence in Hungary.

“Their experience in the construction, infrastructure, industrial and agricultural sectors, combined with a well-established territorial presence, provides an ideal foundation for developing the potential of the Faresin range in Hungary,” she said.

Róbert Litauszki, Managing Director of Huntraco Zrt., also highlighted the commercial opportunities created by the agreement, particularly in sectors requiring versatile and reliable material-handling equipment.

“The addition of Faresin telescopic handlers to our product range expands our ability to provide specialized solutions to Hungarian customers,” he commented.

Operations to begin in November

The operational launch of the partnership is scheduled for November 2026, when Huntraco will begin distributing the Faresin telescopic-handler range through its existing sales and service organisation. The agreement reinforces Faresin’s strategy of expanding its international distribution network through partners capable of providing both commercial expertise and long-term technical support.

For the Italian manufacturer, the collaboration offers an opportunity to increase its visibility in Hungary while making its conventional and electric telescopic handlers more accessible to customers across the country’s agricultural, construction and industrial sectors.
