Witnessed and verified by record registration body RankBrasil, a Fendt IDEAL combine harvested 2,599 metric tons of corn (approx. 43,323 bags of 60-kg) in 24 hours without interruption. The record represents the largest volume of corn ever harvested in 24 hours by a single machine in Brazil.

The achievement took place at Fazenda Recanto in Sidrolândia, Mato Grosso do Sul, using a Fendt IDEAL 9T combine harvester with 27-row GTS X25 header.

The new milestone began within the first 8 hours, with the harvest of 912.72 metric tons (15,212 bags) of corn. Then, upon reaching the 12-hour mark, the combine set a new record with 1,247.7 metric tons (20,795 bags). During this part of the challenge, the machine was operated by a single operator. The continuous operation over the following 12 hours, culminating in the 24-hour harvest record, was carried out by a second operator on the same machine, bringing the total yield to 2,599 metric tons of corn in 24 uninterrupted hours.

Operating without breaks, the Fendt IDEAL maintained a constant speed of approximately 9 km/h and harvested 235.2 hectares in a single continuous cycle. Even under demanding operating conditions, processing approximately 108 metric tons (1,805 bags) per hour, or 30 bags per minute, analyses conducted throughout the harvest indicated negligible grain loss.

RankBrasil was on site to witness the achievement, awarding the title of “Largest corn harvest by a single combine in 24 Hours in Brazil.”
