The world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, Agritechnica, will once again be the international partner of the annual Large Farm Management Conference (LFM), which takes place on 9 September 2021 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Attracting over 300 agribusiness decision-makers, the LFM Conference is organised by the Ukrainian Agri-Business Club and UCABevent Agency and will this year address topics such as the post-COVID economy, carbon farming and the deployment of smart farming technologies.

The event, which takes place about 25 km east of Kiev at Agro Region’s Terminal Z site in Velyka Oleksandrivka, brings together leading farmers, agricultural company representatives, innovative start-ups and leading investors to share experiences, present innovations suitable for Ukraine and network in a professional environment.

This year’s conference programme focusses on the following topics:

  • The world economy in the post-COVID-19 era: An investment boom or another downturn?
  • Carbon farming in Europe and Ukraine
  • Top consumption trends
  • The role of smart farming in supporting the profitability of agribusiness
  • 70 days of the land market in Ukraine

The aim of the LFM Conference is to equip attendees with practical and professional knowledge as shared by both Ukrainian and global experts providing practical advice and case studies. The event also presents topical trends in agribusiness of particular relevance to Ukraine.

The organizer of Agritechnica, the DLG (German Agricultural Society), has been cooperating with the Ukrainian Agri-Business Club, organiser of LFM, for more than 10 years with both organisations pursuing the joint objective of promoting the sharing of relevant agricultural knowledge in the agricultural sector. The Ukrainian Agri-Business Club represents the interests of leading companies in the Ukrainian agro-food sector, promoting efficient agribusiness practices in Ukraine while supporting the improvements of agricultural policies in Ukraine. Members of Ukrainian Agri-Business Club include a long list of leading Agritechnica exhibitors.

“We are pleased to support the Large Farm Management Conference as international partner for 2021. This important event attracts owners and CEOs of Ukrainian agribusinesses, and many of these are also important guests at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, “ says Yulia Bondarenko, Managing Director, DLG Ukraine.
