“Agritechnica on Tour” virtual events are Ukraine and Kazakhstan, focusing on the effects of climate change causing a need to employ resource-conserving farming methods.

With water resource management in agriculture high on the agenda in Kazakhstan, this topic will be explored at the virtual event on 9 February. Farmers and experts from Kazakhstan, Australia, Canada and other regions facing similar effects of climate change will be discussing innovative water management methods that are both reliable and sustainable.

With high-ranking expert speakers, representatives of the ministry and administration and practitioners, these interactive events organized by DLG (German Agricultural Society) as well as partners AgroPortal.ua and World of NAN are part of the virtual “Agritechnica on Tour”, exploring farm machinery and crop production-related topics in agricultural regions.

“In its dual role as both an international professional agricultural organization focused on knowledge-sharing and as organizer of Agritechnica, DLG recognizes that this kind of cross-border exchange will enrich farmers around the world with new ideas and offer an important contribution to successful farming,” says Dr. Olga Hunger, Regional Director Eastern Europe, DLG.
