The global news portal you are currently viewing, is moving to a new owner. Five years after its launch, World Agritech has been acquired by Italian publishing house Vado e Torno.
Acquisitions are not uncommon in the global agricultural machinery business. And now the same applies to WORLD-AGRITECH.com.
The international news portal was launched in 2021 by Ad Bal from the Netherlands. Ad had been editor of Trekker magazine in his home country for almost 20 years before taking early retirement.
During his time as editor of Trekker, he travelled extensively around the world, attending press events and trade shows, visiting OEMs, interviewing senior executives and, of course, visiting many farming operations.
All with the aim of reporting on the developments and challenges, shaping the global agricultural machinery industry.
Ad was also closely involved in the early years of the international Tractor of the Year (TOTY) award, initiated by Italian publishing house Vado e Torno and its Trattori magazine. As a result, close ties have developed over the years between Ad and the Vado e Torno team.
Vado e Torno Edizioni is an independent Italian publishing house with more than 60 years of experience in specialized technical information. Today, its activities include print and digital media, as well as international events and awards dedicated to the transport, powertrain and agricultural machinery sectors.
Among its publications, Trattori, founded in 1998 and led by editorial director Stefano Agnellini, is one of Italy’s leading specialized media brands entirely dedicated to tractors and agricultural machinery. Through its print magazine, Trattoriweb.com, newsletters and social media channels, it provides technical insights, product news, field tests and market analysis, with a strong focus on both the Italian and international agricultural machinery industry.
Trattori also organizes the international Tractor of the Year (TOTY) award.

The time has now come for Ad to hand over the baton to a new professional owner. And who better than Vado e Torno? World Agritech is a natural fit with Trattori and with the international ambitions of the Italian publishing house.
Under the leadership of Stefano Agnellini, editorial director of Trattori, WORLD-AGRITECH.com is now entering a new era.
