For the tenth consecutive year, Trelleborg is the official sponsor of the Tractor of the Year election in Brazil. “Trator Do Ano Brasil – 2023/2024” is an important initiative for the agricultural sector, organized by Agriworld magazine. It aims to recognize the tractor models with the most advanced, efficient and sustainable technologies on the market.
The award will recognize three categories of tractors according to their power: small (up to 100hp), medium (100-200hp) and large (more than 200hp). From these three categories, the jury will also select the Grand Tractor of the Year, as the main award.
Additionally, there will be a special award called the “Most Voted Tractor Award”. The selection process for this award will take place online by popular vote through the website www.tratordoano.com, and will be open to the public from March 15 to April 20, 2023.

According to Leonardo Monteiro, Professor of Agricultural Mechanization at the Federal University of Ceará and Technical Coordinator of the Jury, “The award will strengthen the importance of constant evolution and innovation to improve productivity and efficiency in the industry. The main objective of this award is to recognize the most advanced, efficient and sustainable tractor models in the market.”
Held for the first time in 2014, Tractor of the Year Brazil is held once every two years, with Trelleborg as its main sponsor. The award ceremony will take place on May 1, 2023, at Agrishow, Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. Agrishow is one of the largest agricultural technology trade shows in the world for agricultural manufacturers, taking place from May 1 to May 5, 2023.
