In order to drive forward the introduction of the Fendt full line program in Hungary, the new sales company AgroVario Kft. was founded by the Hungarian agricultural machinery dealer Axiál Kft. This company will exclusively offer Fendt combines, balers, mowers, tedders and rakes, loader wagons, self-propelled forage harvesters as well as application equipment and telehandlers to Hungarian farmers from September 1, 2022.

The owners of the new sales company AgroVario Kft. are Axiál, with 75 percent share and Nothung Zrt., with 25 percent. Nothung Zrt. is specialized in investments in the agricultural technology sector in order to further develop this industry in Hungary. Axiál will retain the exclusive distribution rights for tractors in Hungary, while cooperating with AgroVario in successfully introducing the rest of the Fendt portfolio (harvesting machinery, sprayers and telehandlers) to Hungarian farmers.

“Axiál – with its 75 percent stake in the business – will ensure that Hungarian farmers continue to receive the highest standard and quality of aftersales that Axiál and the brand Fendt are known for”, says Zsolt Harsányi, Managing Director of Axiál. As such, Axiál and AgroVario will also closely collaborate to guarantee that farmers benefit from Axiál’s exceptional precision farming technologies and related services on Fendt machinery.

“Hungary is a country with a very strong agricultural sector and offers great potential for the Fendt full line program. It is our ambition to fully offer our wide and high-quality product range to Hungarian farmers,” says Christian Erkens, Director of Fendt Sales for Europe and Middle East.

The opening of the AgroVario headquarters in Ács, northern Hungary, and the launch of the Fendt full line program is scheduled for September 2022. The new distributor organization will have an exclusive nationwide branch network to be close to the farmers.

This year, two competence centers will be opened in Békéscsaba and Kaposmérő, supported by an additional service point in Miskolc. Next year, the number of outlets will increase in order to bring the full service offer from machine sales to spare parts supply closer to all customers.
