Fendt announces relocation of the production and development of loader wagons in Germany, from Waldstetten to the Wolfenbüttel production site. Over the long term, the offer in forage technology for professional farmers and contractors will be expanded.

In order to reinforce the competency in forage technology at the previous production site for round balers and at the same time to achieve higher cost efficiency, from September 2022 Fendt loader wagons will also be produced in Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony.

“The decision to bundle production of Fendt loader wagons at the Wolfenbüttel site, is to continue making our machines for green fodder harvesting more professional. We want to ensure outstanding quality of the Fendt Tigos in design and workmanship over the long term”, says Christoph Gröblinhoff, Vice President & Managing Director of AGCO/Fendt. “In the coming years we will invest in the development of forage technology as well as in the production of Fendt products. Our location in Wolfenbüttel is perfect in size and structure for further expansion of production capacity. In the future, we expect even stronger synergies that will arise through the collaboration of the development specialists for balers and loader wagons.”
