NEXAT has been awarded the Gold Award in the equipment category of the Ag in Motion 2026 Innovations in Agriculture Program. The award was presented at the Remai Modern Art Gallery in Saskatoon, at the occasion of Ag in Motion 2026, Western Canada’s premier outdoor farm show, drawing more than 30,000 visitors from across the Prairies and beyond.

Agriculture in Canada projects a shortfall of more than 24,000 farm workers nationally within the next decade, with Saskatchewan, home to the largest average farm size in Canada, among the hardest hit.

Finding a qualified combine operator at peak harvest is already a critical constraint for many grain operations. NEXAT addresses this directly. A single operator manages seeding and harvesting from one cab. As a high-capacity, multi-purpose machine with large working widths without changing existing field layouts. Implement modules swap in under 15 minutes, tool-free. The system’s autonomous RTK guidance and AI-based path planning reduce the operator’s role to oversight, the machine follows the plan.

“Winning the Gold Innovation Award at Ag in Motion is a fantastic recognition for our entire team and our development partners. We see immense potential for the NEXAT system in North America, as the scale and structure of many farming operations demand innovative solutions that blend productivity, efficiency, and forward-looking agriculture.” Says Luca Lang, country manager Canada for NEXAT.

NEXAT is a wide-span, modular, diesel-electric self-propelled carrier vehicle designed for full-width tillage, seeding, and harvest. The NEXCO harvesting module delivers a 908-bushel grain tank, unloading at approximately 1,000 bushels per minute, covering 8,000 or more acres per season. The carrier’s engine, cab, and chassis are shared across various implements year-round leading to lower investment costs and higher efficiency.
