Case IH introduces its new 16-row folding mounted configuration for the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series, providing greater flexibility. When used with an Early Riser planter and Active Implement Guidance, this set up delivers optimal productivity and precision, while protecting soil health.
Maintaining soil health has become critical as farmers face challenges such as input costs, unpredictable weather patterns and narrow operating windows. To help navigate these hurdles, Case IH now offers a 16-row folding-mounted toolbar configuration for the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series, providing more options.
Engineered to advance soil management, the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series offers the dual benefits of conservation-minded no-till farming and conventional tillage. By creating clean, precise strips, the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series leaves a protective residue between strips that enhance the soil’s nutrient utilization and ability to retain water.
The strip-till process requires fewer field passes, directly reducing fuel and compaction, while promoting early emergence and unlocking higher yield potential.
“By offering the new 16-row folding mounted toolbar configuration on the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series, farmers can cover more acres while improving soil health during a time where every minute counts,” said Ken Lehmann, customer segment lead at Case IH. “From there, pairing it with the Early Riser planter creates a balanced combination for improving soil health and starting the season off strong.”
The Nutri-Tiller 1000 series uniform strips improve planter ride quality by moving residue out of the way while keeping clean soil in the strip. When paired with an Early Riser planter, this equipment combination protects the long-term productivity of the soil and establishes a strong seedbed for early, even emergence.
The Early Riser row unit engages the soil to deliver precise seed placement, consistent depth control and optimal seed-to-soil contact right where the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series strip tillage equipment created the strips. By placing the seeds exactly where they need to go, the planter ensures faster germination, more uniform emergence and a stronger stand, all while preserving the soil health between strips.
Operators can store, manage and send out guidance lines across their fleets through Case IH FieldOps, ensuring the tractor and implement are tracking accurately to the map, while Active Implement Guidance technology helps keep the tractor and implement on the same guidance lines. Active Implement Guidance delivers precise placement by correcting drift in real time, improving yield potential and reducing crop damage and soil compaction.
