Horsch steadily moving forward

Horsch successfully closed business year 2025. With a group turnover of 1,08 billion euros, the company managed to maintain its turnover above the €1 billion mark for the third consecutive year and even achieved moderate growth.

All Horsch sites worldwide were strategically developed further, particularly in the sectors R & D, production and sales. The management places great importance on a company with stable financial results that can make targeted, modern investments in the future to secure its long-term prospects.

Over the past five years, more than 150 million euros have also been invested worldwide in the expansion, modernization, and infrastructure of the Horsch sites. This laid the structural foundations for ensuring stability and further growth in the long term.

Product innovation

Digitalization is a central pillar of the ongoing development at Horsch, consistently pushed across all sectors. It is an essential part of product innovation and product development and also plays a significant role in the business processes of the company.

Research and development are central pillars of the company’s strategy. The focus has always been on solutions that prove their worth in practical use and offer tangible benefits. New concepts consistently derive from practical requirements.

In this context, Horsch received a DLG Silver Medal at Agritechnica 2025 for its proactive Leeb BoomControl system. The award-winning solution represents forward-looking boom control and contributes to further increase precision, efficiency and safety in the crop care sector.

Horsch entered the fertiliser application technology market in 2023 with its Leeb Xeric and since then has gained valuable experience in this rapidly developing segment. During Agritechnica 2025, the company introduced 25 new products.

International growth

Horsch further consolidated its market position internationally. The AgTec Centre in Minneapolis, USA was opened in 2025. This site serves as a permanent hub for North America, bringing together and spreading technical expertise, training and agronomic knowledge.

In Brazil, Horsch established its own site in 2023. Here products are developed and manufactured for the local market. At the same time, the corresponding service and sales structures were put in place to develop further sales potential.

In Europe, encouraging results were achieved, particularly in Romania, Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic states. The German and French markets proved to be extremely resilient and remain of paramount importance.

Recent years have been marked by epidemics, supply chain issues and wars, and are increasingly shaped by geopolitical challenges. Currently, many farms are facing a sharp rise in costs, particularly for diesel fuel and fertilizer, which are placing a significant financial burden on them.

The Horsch and Leeb families are proud of the flexibility, foresight, adaptability and creativity of their employees and partners. The company employs around 3,500 staff worldwide.

“Every single person is contributing to our success in these difficult times”, the management says. “Business year 2025 shows that our clear focus on practicality, customer proximity, innovation and collaborative partnerships is the right approach. Our growth is not a short-term phenomenon but the result of consistent work on our products, our sites and our international structures.”
