The 2025 tractor manufacturing report in Turkey has been published by association Tarmakbir. Production figures, spanning from January to December, indicate a 41 percent decline compared to the previous year.

According to Tarmakbir (Turkish association of agricultural machinery & equipment manufacturers), the year 2025 was difficult for the tractor manufacturing industry. Based on the most recent statistics, a total of 42,734 tractors were manufactured over the full year. The tractor manufacturing volume reflects the rate of mechanization in Turkey.

The sector’s production volume decreased by 41 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. This decrease is considered to be a reflection of the supply-demand balance and the economic conjuncture in the agricultural machinery sector on the production line.

These data reveal the extent of the decline, not only compared to the previous year, but also according to long-term trends. Based on the averages of the January-December period of the last 4 years.

  • Rate of change in 2025: -47.7%
  • Production volume difference: sector is almost halfway behind its performance of the last four years

Numerous factors, including financial conditions, farmers’ purchasing power, and input costs, are thought to have contributed to this dramatic drop in productivity. Industry leaders will concentrate on market fundamentals, loan interest rates, credit availability, and incentives to boost output in 2026
