Under the agreement, MTL secures distribution rights for LOVOL’s track-type harvesters, wheeled harvesters and balers, with potential portfolio expansion as market demands evolve.
Aligned with federal efforts in Pakistan to modernize agriculture, the initiative brings advanced harvesting and high-horsepower machinery to local farmers to increase productivity, lower post-harvest losses, and support national food security. The framework also lays the groundwork for future CKD assembly and local manufacturing arrangements once targeted market volumes are met.
MTL Chairman Sikandar Mustafa Khan emphasized that the partnership accelerates mechanization while establishing a path toward local production. MTL will maintain its primary partnership with Massey Ferguson, using the new LOVOL lineup to serve complementary market segments.
