Quicke expands its bale handling portfolio with Balecut, a dedicated implement designed to make feeding operations faster, cleaner and more efficient. Developed for round bales from 90 to 160 cm in diameter, Balecut cuts the bale in two while simultaneously retaining the plastic wrap and net. The entire operation is controlled from the cab, reducing manual handling and improving productivity.
At the heart of the design is Quicke’s integrated Bale Wrap Handler, which tilts sideways as well as forward and backward to adapt to the bale’s shape, ensuring secure wrap retention regardless of bale density, shape or wrap type. Combined with a large opening width and powerful hydraulic cylinders, Balecut delivers reliable performance in everything from dry and wet silage to highdensity and frozen bales.

Here’s how Quicke’s new technology works
The Bale Wrap Handler simplifies round bale processing by cleanly cutting and splitting bales ranging from 90 to 160 cm in diameter, all without the operator ever having to leave the tractor cab. Its integrated wrap handler securely retains the plastic wrap and netting throughout the operation, preventing waste from falling into the feed, whether you are working with dry, wet, or frozen bales. For added versatility, an optional detachable bucket can be fitted to easily handle loose feed and liquids alongside standard bales.
“With Balecut, we wanted to simplify bale feeding by combining cutting and wrap handling in one efficient operation. The result is higher productivity, less manual work and improved operator comfort,” said Henrik Jönsson, Product Manager Implements, Quicke.
The introduction of Balecut further strengthens Quicke’s offering of implements designed to improve efficiency in everyday farm operations.
