The ZG-TX is known as a high-performance combi spreader for the precise application of mineral fertilizer and lime. Individualized optional equipment for every application, combined with the ability to spread a wide variety of materials with high precision, makes it a versatile solution for larger farms, contractors and the machinery hire sector.
Precise weighing system
An integrated weighing system is now available for accurate hopper fill level indication and the simple offline spread rate regulation of lime and mineral fertilizer. The weight is registered by means of two robust weigh cells positioned between the axle and the frame as well as via an additional sensor in the drawbar. The weight is clearly displayed on the ISOBUS terminal.
The weighing system supports fill level management when used in conjunction with optional the work lights. Flashing work lights indicate the hopper fill level and enable precise filling to the target weight. This helps reduce residual hopper volumes and make the work process more efficient.
Thanks to its integration in the ISOBUS software, the weighing system also allows for easy calibration of the spread rate for lime and mineral fertilizer. Once a known quantity has been applied, the weight in the hopper is checked and the calibration factor is calculated from this. Manual determination of the bulk density is not necessary. This means that a wide variety of spreading materials can now be precisely applied.
FlowControl for lime
Another key feature of the model update is the FlowControl automatic spread rate regulation system for lime. Newly developed gearboxes now enable torque measurement, a familiar technique from fertiliser application, to be used for lime.
The desired application rate is entered and then FlowControl continuously adjusts the discharge automatically. This ensures a high degree of application rate accuracy, even with lime of varying quality.
Available for various ZG-TX models
Both systems are now available for all ISOBUS-equipped ZG-TX models. This applies both to the ZG-TX Super, with a maximum permissible machine weight of 21 tonnes, and the ZG-TX Special with 12.5 tonnes.
This latest model update has enabled the ZG-TX to consolidate its position as a multi-functional combi spreader suitable for a wide range of operating situations. Operators benefit from a high degree of flexibility while ensuring the precise application of a variety of spreading materials.
