Case IH introduces model year 2027 updates across its baler range, helping reduce interruptions and benefit from expanded automation and connectivity. New compostable net wrap enhances disposal requirements.
The new LB4 and LB6 large square series features higher throughput, stronger durability and smarter operator control. A new rotor feeder option expands the offering, giving greater choice to match the feeding system to the operation. Designed to deliver a continuous and controlled crop flow, it supports high throughput and performance across varying crop conditions.
Now available with up to 57 knives, the rotor cutter version offers enhanced cutting performance and flexibility. Combined with a new lightweight knife drawer, it enables faster access and easier cleaning, while individual knife protection and simple cut length adjustment help adapt quickly to changing conditions.
On top of these updates comes an innovative driveline concept. It combines a hydraulic-controlled slip clutch and on-the-go torque measurement with a real-time load indicator, helping maintain optimal working capacity and maximize productivity.
Further technology updates simplify operator control. A new large square baler automation interface provides improved operator visibility through a single-screen operating environment.
The RB6 round baler series receives updates focused on durability, bale consistency and ease of operation.
A strengthened bale chamber and upgraded core components improve robustness in demanding conditions, helping maintain consistent bale quality while reducing long-term maintenance requirements.
Technology enhancements make operation easier across fleets and operator experience levels. An expanded monitor offering and factory-ready tractor and baler automation reduce setup time and simplify operation. The system automatically stops the tractor, wraps and ejects the bale, enabling consistent performance with minimal operator input.
The RB6 HD Pro series features sustained output, smoother crop flow and greater operational visibility. Designed as a heavy-duty solution for large farms and contractors, the RB6 HD Pro model year 2027 receives updates aimed at sustaining high output levels, improving crop flow and increasing operational visibility. Mechanical improvements help optimize crop flow, supporting productivity and bale quality during demanding working periods. Enhanced FieldOps connectivity gives operators and managers access to extended baling data. From field performance information to advanced bale tracking and mapping, it helps improve planning, logistics and the management of larger operations. Integrated Tractor and Baler Automation, together with an expanded monitor offering, further support overall performance.
Finally, Case IH introduces Nature’s Net Wrap on RB6 and RB6 HD Pro round balers. The compostable net wrap option is designed to deliver the same wrapping performance and bale integrity as conventional plastic net wrap, while helping reduce plastic waste and disposal requirements. Made from plant based materials, Nature’s Net Wrap can break down through natural biological processes under composting conditions and integrates seamlessly into existing baling practices, helping reduce the time and cost associated with collecting and disposing of used net wrap.
