According to Argentine news platform Maquinac, Lovol from China has announced plans to invest more than $200 million in a new combine harvester production facility. It marks another major step in the company’s global growth strategy.

The new plant, currently under construction in China, is expected to become one of the world’s most advanced harvesting equipment manufacturing centers. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, with commercial production expected to begin in 2027.

The project represents a significant expansion of Lovol’s manufacturing capabilities and reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening its position in the global agricultural machinery sector.

The combine harvester facility follows another large-scale investment announced by Lovol earlier in 2025. The company committed approximately $420 million to the development of a state-of-the-art smart tractor manufacturing plant in Shandong Province, China.

This tractor facility is also designed to showcase advanced automation technologies.

Lovol’s latest investments reflect a broader trend among Chinese agricultural machinery manufacturers, which are rapidly expanding production capacity while integrating automation, digital technologies, and smart manufacturing systems.

By adding a dedicated combine harvester facility to its industrial network, Lovol is enhancing its capabilities across key agricultural machinery segments and positioning itself to better serve both domestic and international markets.

Once operational, the new combine harvester plant is expected to become a cornerstone of Lovol’s harvesting equipment business. The investment highlights the company’s long-term commitment to manufacturing innovation, operational efficiency, and international expansion. The facility is expected to play a vital role in supporting Lovol’s ambitions to increase its presence in major farming markets worldwide.
