CNH India has achieved a manufacturing milestone with the rollout of its 800,000th tractor from the company’s Greater Noida manufacturing facility. The achievement reflects CNH’s commitment to serve India’s agricultural growth by supplying quality products, meeting the demands of this market.
“As a key pillar in CNH’s global manufacturing network, our Noida plant continues to deliver good quality technology-driven solutions. Rolling out our 800,000th tractor from the Greater Noida facility is a significant milestone that reflects the strength and agility of our manufacturing operations, especially achieved in the shortest time till date – a reflection of our growing volumes in domestic and export markets”, said Ravi Kundra, Director Manufacturing Agriculture, CNH India.
Spread across 60 acres (24 hectares), the Greater Noida facility is one of CNH’s key manufacturing hubs globally and manufactures tractors, engines, transmissions, PTOs and axles for domestic and export markets.
The plant produces over 3,000 tractor variants across the New Holland and Case IH brands and employs more than 4,000 people in India.
Products manufactured at the facility are exported to over 90 countries across regions including across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and North America. Equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies, automation systems and stringent quality processes, the plant also reflects CNH’s focus on sustainable manufacturing through initiatives such as rooftop solar power generation water conservation measures and afforestation programs based on the Miyawaki plantation methodology.
With its strong growth trajectory, CNH India has emerged as a global hub for the design, manufacturing, and export of small tractors. New Holland continues to be the company’s fastest-growing brand. Building on this momentum, the company has announced plans to set up a new tractor manufacturing facility to meet the local and global demand for “Made in India” equipment.
CNH India operates in the country through its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands. The company also has its financing arm, CNH Capital India, to offer financing solutions across its portfolio.
