Amazone and CultiWise join forces

Amazone and CultiWise are entering into a strategic partnership. Objective of both companies is that digital, site-specific applications must work seamlessly and deliver immediate added value in the field. Seamless processes and efficiency gains when sowing, fertilizing or spraying must be recognized as additional benefits.

CultiWise develops AI-supported satellite- and drone-based application maps as well as plant recognition solutions, offering synergy with the Amazone portfolio. Farmers are set to benefit more quickly from these digital applications as well as the more precise utilization of their machinery fleet making their methods of operation even more efficient. Both CultiWise and Amazone remain independent partners and continue to develop their solutions independently. This allows users to benefit from rapid innovation, openness and future-proofing, regardless of which brands are being used on the farm.

CultiWise offers a global online portal with AI models that maps all agronomic processes on the farm based on comprehensive training data. With the team from Czech Republic and Slovakia, CultiWise has developed solutions such as automated flight planning, image processing on the drone and the integration of fully automated drone docks.

In the future, job data will be seamlessly created, transferred and implemented using Amazone technology. For the farmer, this means less effort in preparation, simpler processes in daily operations and more efficient use of modern agricultural machinery. In other words turning smart farming into a practical solution.

The key benefit to the customer lies in the connection with AmaConnect – Amazone’s cloud-based data platform to create a digital bridge between planning, machine deployment and documentation. This provides Amazone customers with a decisive advantage: by intelligently linking the digital data from CultiWise application maps for fertilization, sowing and plant protection to the Amazone applications in AmaConnect, the performance of modern agricultural machinery can be exploited even more effectively.

Added value of collaboration

In plant protection, Amazone technology, such as the AmaSelect electric individual nozzle control system and the AmaXact nozzle system with pulse-width frequency modulation, only realize their full potential when used in conjunction with optimally prepared spot application maps. Calculating application rates in advance based on the technology available makes it significantly easier for farmers to carry out applications with precision and efficiency. The DirectInject direct injection system will be particularly beneficial for automated switching on the headland and variable application rates within the field.

Variable-rate maize sowing maps are widely recognized from an agronomic perspective, but they are still not commonly used in practice. Workflows involving the terminal and the implement are often a hindrance. With EasyTram, Amazone offers an automated tramline system, for the Precea precision seeder. As part of the collaboration between the two companies, customers can transfer both maps to the AmaTron 4 operator terminal via the Amatron Share app in a seamless process.

The seamless integration of CultiWise and AmaConnect enhances the practical benefits of Amazone technology: data becomes available where it is needed, workflows are simplified, and digital precision can be integrated into daily practice without adding complexity. The partnership not only increases the benefits of individual functions but also further enhances the entire Amazone system in smart farming.
