Jacto from Brazil releases its 5030 NPK spreader unit, a solution that allows retrofitting a used self-propelled vehicle into a future fit fertilizer spreader. Compatible with multi-brand equipment, the 5030 NPK delivers proven savings of up to 15% on fertilizer costs.
Featuring a highly corrosion-resistant stainless-steel 5,000-kg hopper, the 5030 NPK is designed to be installed on multi-brand equipment enabling farmers reuse their resources. “By using second-hand and older machinery, we increase their efficiency and make technologies that deliver high operational performance more accessible”, says Jacto’s Product Planning manager Rodrigo Madeira.
The new unit features the same fertilization technologies as the fertilizer spreader Uniport 5030 NPK, such as the automatic 12-section control, which has been proven to save up to 15% on fertilizer costs by preventing overlapping applications, and “boundary control,” which reduces fertilizer application in unwanted areas like access roads.
Similarly, in regions near environmental reserves, you can activate “intensive border control” to further direct distribution toward the edges and prevent fertilizers from reaching protected areas.
The disc and blade assembly of the 5030 NPK spreader is designed to provide even application across spreading widths of up to 50 meters. With an optional disc assembly, the machine is also prepared to handle powdered products, such as limestone. Another benefit is the automatic system that adjusts where the fertilizer falls onto the discs without needing to change the angles or rotation of the blades.
Precision agriculture
The 5030 NPK is compatible with Jacto’s main precision agriculture tools, further enhancing the performance of each application. Farmers can integrate the fertilizer spreader with features such as Autopilot, Variable Rate Application, and the EKOS telemetry platform to manage operations more effectively.
Another intelligent feature is the Jacto SmartSet app, which helps adjust the application width of broadcast fertilizer spreaders based on the type of fertilizer.
The new 5030 NPK will be launched during the upcoming ShowSafra, which will be held from March 23rd to 27th, 2026, in Lucas do Rio Verde, MT Brazil. The company will also display other machinery among which the recently introduced BalanceControl system.
