The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 10th, 2026, at 12:30 PM, at the Quadriportico of BolognaFiere, during EIMA International.

A total of 23 tractors are competing for the six Tractor of the Year titles, across the HighPower, MidPower, Utility, Specialized, Sustainable and TotYBot categories.

An extensive journey of analysis and evaluation

The award ceremony represents the culmination of a process that began several months earlier, during which the international Tractor of the Year jury has been engaged in a comprehensive programme of technical assessments, meetings with manufacturers, product presentations and field tests.

The journey began with “Let the Challenge Begin”, the event at which manufacturers officially presented their candidates, marking the start of the technical and journalistic evaluation process that characterises every edition of the awards.

Over the following months, jury members carefully examined the characteristics of the competing tractors, assessing their performance, technological features, efficiency, comfort, safety, innovation and ability to meet the evolving needs of modern agriculture. This independent and thorough evaluation process has always been one of the defining features of Tractor of the Year.

TotY Arena: tractors take centre stage

The 2027 edition will also bring the award’s protagonists closer to the EIMA International audience through the TotY Arena, a dedicated space designed to showcase the finalist tractors and turn agricultural technology into an engaging live experience.

Throughout the exhibition, the tractors will be on display in the dedicated area and will take centre stage in dynamic shows twice a day, featuring music, entertainment and live presentations, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the competing models up close.

The first show will take place on Tuesday, November 10th, at 4:00 PM, just a few hours after the winners are announced. On the following days, the TotY Arena will host two daily shows, at 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Adding to the excitement, BKT, sponsor of Tractor of the Year, will contribute to the experience with a special giveaway of branded merchandise for visitors attending the shows.

The TotY Arena will therefore become a meeting point for innovation, information and entertainment, offering enthusiasts and industry professionals a unique opportunity to experience some of the most exciting developments in agricultural mechanization.

“The award ceremony is the most eagerly anticipated moment of Tractor of the Year, but it is only the final stage of a much longer and more demanding journey” says Fabio Zammaretti, Chairman of Tractor of the Year. “Behind each of the six awards lie months of dedicated work by our international jury, continuous dialogue with manufacturers and an in-depth journalistic assessment of the competing tractors. It is precisely this commitment, combined with the independence and professionalism of our jury members, that gives the award its value and credibility.”

“Tractor of the Year represents one of the most respected benchmarks for innovation in agricultural mechanization” says Lucia Salmaso, Managing Director of BKT Europe. “At BKT, we believe that progress is built through collaboration, and events like this play a key role in highlighting the technologies that will shape the future of farming. We are proud to contribute to this journey and to celebrate the achievements of the industry’s leading innovators once again.”
