Herbert Dammann GmbH of Buxtehude in Germany, has filed for bankruptcy. The company is known for professional crop protection equipment and specialty vehicles. A provisional administrator has been appointed for the long-established family business.

For the agricultural machinery industry in northern Germany, this move marks a turning point. Dammann has been regarded for decades as a specialist in liquids application. The company’s primary focus is on crop protection technology. In addition, its systems are used in vehicles for winter road maintenance and rail maintenance.

Herbert Dammann GmbH was founded on March 15, 1979, by Herbert Dammann. The farmer and mechanical engineer initially developed solutions to adapt agricultural technology to his own needs.
