Agribusiness executives joined U.S. President Donald Trump, farmers, industry representatives and policymakers at the White House and U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. to recognize the essential role of agriculture in the USA and honor the American farmer. U.S. made tractors were on display.

The gathering served as part of the “Great American Agriculture Celebration”, a broader observation of the 250th anniversary of American agriculture, highlighting the enduring contributions of farmers who feed the world.

AGCO Chairman, President and CEO Eric Hansotia attended the event alongside the Fendt golden tractor, a visual symbol of innovation, customer commitment and pride in American agriculture.

“Moments like this are an opportunity to recognize farmers for what they do every day,” said Eric Hansotia. “For generations, American farmers have helped shape this country, and AGCO is proud to stand with them as agriculture continues to evolve and lead us into the future.”

AGCO’s agricultural heritage spans nearly two centuries through its brands, beginning with the 1860 origins of Massey Ferguson and extending today through Fendt and the company’s newest brand, PTx

That legacy reflects a long-standing commitment to helping farmers succeed through dependable machinery, advanced technology and customer-focused support.

The golden Fendt 1167 Vario MT track tractor featured during the event, reflects Fendt’s Gold Star Customer Care program. The tractor was manufactured in Jackson, Minnesota.

Also Case IH was represented in the U.S. capital. Displayed on the South Lawn during the presidential event, a Case IH Heartland Magnum tractor stood as a tribute to U.S. farmers and to the generations of manufacturing in Racine, Wisconsin.

For almost four decades, the Magnum has been one of the most iconic Case IH tractors,  built in the United States and in operation around the world.

The brand traces its roots back to 1842 when the company first began building equipment for US farmers, and over 180 years later, it represents generations of American manufacturing.

“Being part of this celebration is a proud moment for us and for the farmers we serve,” said Scott Harris, President, North America, CNH. “Built in Racine since 1988, the Magnum tractor reflects the performance farmers depend on every day. We are committed to supporting US agriculture with world-class equipment.”

Case IH is part of CNH and maintains a significant manufacturing footprint in the US, with some 8,000 employees across 10 manufacturing plants.

Finally of course, also John Deere was present, displaying its recently launched 8R 540 high-horsepower tractor.

The new tractor was designed, the steel castings were poured, the engine and drivetrain were built, and the machine was assembled in facilities across John Deere’s Waterloo, IA manufacturing complex.

Waterloo Tractor Operations in Waterloo, IA, is John Deere’s largest manufacturing complex globally where John Deere has maintained a presence for more than 100 years. Today, the operations encompass five sites: the Product Engineering Center, Engine Works, Foundry Operations, Drivetrain Operations, and Tractor Operations.
