Farmers in the South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa region will now have faster access to original Grimme parts and the latest innovations from Grimme. The specialist in potato, vegetable and sugar beet technology opened its new branch in Fisantekraal, Durbanville, Cape Town.

This new branch aims to streamline the supply chain and ensure that essential parts and machinery are readily available to meet the demands of the agricultural season. Grimme Africa’s new branch is staffed with a team of local experts who bring specialized service and technical knowledge to the region. This team is committed to providing tailored solutions to help farmers optimize their operations and increase productivity. By having a presence on the ground, Grimme will better understand and address the unique needs of customers.

In addition to faster access to parts and machinery, the new branch will enhance Grimme Africa’s after-sales service capabilities. With local service capacity, the company will  reduce downtime for customers, offering quicker response times, effective troubleshooting, and comprehensive training programs. Goal is to keep customers’ operations running at peak performance and prevent any disruptions during critical farming periods

“We are thrilled to bring Grimme’s solutions closer to our customers in the South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa region,” said J.P Smit, Managing Director of Grimme Africa (Pty) Ltd. “The opening of our new branch in Fisantekraal, Durbanville is a testament to our commitment to supporting the local farming community and providing them with the best technology, parts, and services they need to succeed.”
