Trelleborg Tires has once again been named “Best Agriculture Tire” at the 22nd Visão Agro Brazil Awards, held in Ribeirão Preto (SP), the heart of Brazilian agribusiness. The award underscores Trelleborg Tires’ ongoing focus on technological tire quality and its contribution to sustainable growth within Brazil’s agricultural sector.

The trophy was accepted by Fábio Metidieri, Agri Sales Director at Yokohama TWS Brazil. The recognition further strengthens Trelleborg Tires’ partnership with Brazilian farmers and OEMs.

Trelleborg Tires is expanding the adoption of its ProgressiveTraction technology across its TM range, from the TM600, designed for row-crop applications, to the TM1000, the top-of-the-line tire for high-horsepower tractors. This tire tread features a dual-edge lug design that works progressively on the ground, delivering traction, self-cleaning, and reduced vibration. These advantages contribute to greater efficiency, extended tire life, and higher soil protection, also in Brazil.

“Receiving this award once again reinforces our commitment to Brazilian agriculture,” added Metidieri. “Our goal is to keep advancing in technology and field performance, ensuring that every Trelleborg tire delivers real value in terms of efficiency, sustainability, and profitability”.

Trelleborg Tires maintains a solid presence in Brazil through a dedicated team of tire experts, intensive field testing and OEM partnerships across the country’s main farming regions. This proximity enables fast technical support and ensures that product development remains closely aligned with the needs and challenges of Brazilian agriculture. As Metidieri commented: “This award reflects the trust placed in our team and our products by professionals throughout the sector. It strengthens our commitment to delivering technologies that address local challenges and help shape the future of Brazilian farming”, Fábio Metidieri concludes.
