Fendt begins its operations in Argentina with three new dealerships in the Buenos Aires region and with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions including tractors, sprayers, and combines. This move is part of the company’s expansion strategy in South America, where it already operates 36 stores in Brazil and two in Paraguay.
“Agriculture represents a significant share of Argentina’s GDP, making the country a key market in Fendt’s growth strategy for South America. To support this market, robust and modern machinery is essential to help farmers reduce costs and increase productivity. With that in mind, we have structured a strong dealership network in the region, which will provide high quality service and after-sales support,” says Marcelo Traldi, Vice President of Fendt and Valtra, Latin America.
Argentina stands among the world’s leading agricultural powers, with the sector accounting for about 23% of the country’s GDP, according to the Fundación Agropecuaria para el Desarrollo de Argentina (FADA). Fendt’s arrival comes at a moment of economic recovery and growing openness in the agribusiness sector, with projected growth for 2025 and a favorable environment for investment in agricultural machinery. The market is expected to reach USD 2.3 billion by 2030, according to market research company Mordor Intelligence.
Comprehensive portfolio
Fendt will initially bring the 728 Vario Gen7 and 900 Vario Gen7 tractor series, IDEAL combine harvester and Rogator 934H self-propelled sprayer to Argentina. In addition to this machinery portfolio, Fendt will also introduce its after-sales service to the Argentine market featuring an Integrated Solutions Center (CSI) equipped to support farmers throughout the entire production cycle. The service includes technical consulting, telemetry, training, and input management optimization, ensuring efficiency and equipment uptime.
“More than machines, we deliver a complete experience, built on innovation, connectivity, and specialized technical support. Fendt believes Argentine farmers are ready to take the next step toward agricultural modernization, and the brand is here to walk that path together, offering smart, integrated solutions that make a difference in the field, from tillage to harvest,” emphasizes Fabio Dotto, Director of Products for Fendt and Valtra Latin America.
Warranty and smart monitoring
Fendt machinery in Argentina will also be covered by the Fendt Gold Star program, which offers a three-year factory warranty. The program includes continuous monitoring of machine availability. These benefits, combined with the brand’s innovations focused on productivity, efficiency, and operator comfort, reaffirm Fendt’s commitment to delivering modern technology solutions.
“Fendt arrives in Argentina to drive the development of agriculture in the region, raising the standard of agricultural engineering with high-performance equipment, tailored to the needs of local farmers. Our goal is to help advance toward a more technological, sustainable, and efficient agriculture, one that meets today’s challenges and opportunities, with a simple proposal: more innovation, more precision, more profitability,” adds Emiliano Ferraz, Commercial Director of Fendt and Valtra Hispanoamérica.
Fendt will begin operations in Argentina in 2026 through dealerships Balcarce Maquinarias, in the region of Balcarce and Tres Arroyos, both in Buenos Aires; Natural Argentina in the region of Villa Mercedes, province of San Luis and Delta Agro in the region of Armstrong, Santa Fe.
