JCB is introducing two brand new Fastrac tractors. These will take the Fastrac concept to the next level in terms of performance and operator appeal. The wraps will come off the all-new 6000 Series, making it the third Fastrac series in JCB’s tractor range.
The Fastrac 6260 with 212kW (284hp) and the 6300 at 250kW (335hp) have a new chassis structure, selectable four-wheel steering, four-wheel external disc braking with anti-lock both on- and off the road, 66kph top speed, where permitted, and well-known all-round suspension.
In addition, the new tractors will be available with a fully-integrated tire inflation management system to optimize tire pressure for road and field operations, and axles with brake pad wear monitoring and quick-change replacement of brake discs.
New digital technologies include a dual satellite receiver installation for quicker, more precise line acquisition, the Twin Steer ultra-precision guidance system that steers the two axles individually, and multiple-pattern headland turn guidance.
The new Fastrac 6290 and 6300 will join the range between the existing 60kph Fastrac 4000 Series with up to 175kW (235hp) and the 70kph Fastrac 8000 Series with up to 260kW (348hp).
The Fastrac 6000 Series will officially be introduced during the upcoming Agritechnica international trade fair, this coming November in Hanover, Germany.
