Stara and Starlink are working together to provide stable, reliable, and high-speed satellite connectivity in Brazil, even in remote areas. This enables full use of the technologies embedded in Stara machines, optimizing specialized services, and enhancing farm management through real-time monitoring.
Starlink’s reliable connectivity can optimize access to data and productivity on Stara’s machines. Stara’s CEO, Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, highlights the importance of this initiative. “This innovation represents a decisive step forward in our history. To grasp its relevance, we can compare it to the emergence of the urban internet around 25 years ago, an event that accelerated technological evolution and brought unimaginable benefits at the time,” he emphasizes.
Starlink will initially bring a series of advantages by optimizing access to and use of the information already generated by the machines, enhancing services such as Conecta, Telemetria (telemetry), Syncro, and Monitoramento de Máquinas (Machine Monitoring System). “Later, it will gradually enable the transformation of the machines, driving new ideas, tools, and benefits”, according to Stapelbroek. “Just as the evolution with urban internet was transformative, the gains that internet connectivity in our machines will bring to farmers are immeasurable.”
Starting in the first half of 2026, Stara’s self-propelled machines will have the option to be factory-equipped with Starlink kits. In other words, they will benefit from high-speed internet connection, powered by Starlink’s advanced satellite constellation in low Earth orbit.
The introduction of satellite connectivity coincides with Stara’s 65th anniversary celebrations, symbolizing a milestone in its history and a decisive step towards the future.
