WEED-IT distribution in Canada

The distribution of WEED-IT precision spot spraying technology from Rometron in Canada has changed. After distribution and service in this country through Croplands from Australia,  Rometron will be resuming direct distribution of its WEED-IT precision spraying technology across Canada.

This transition, made in full partnership between Rometron and Croplands, will ensure Canadian farmers experience uninterrupted access to WEED-IT products, backed by strong local support and service. The new distributorship is named WEED-IT Canada and is operating from the Netherlands.

The decision to shift distribution responsibilities aligns with the shared commitment of both Rometron and Croplands to support Canadian farmers with high quality products, service, and expertise. Croplands, which has played a vital role in expanding WEED-IT’s presence in Canada, will work closely with Rometron to ensure a smooth handover that maintains the level of support farmers expect.

Rometron Director Roel de Jonge said: “We’re grateful for Croplands’ partnership and dedication to making the Canadian market a success for WEED-IT over the past four years and will ensure the changeover is smooth and efficient for our Canadian customers.”

Croplands will continue to support the transition by providing ongoing assistance and expertise as Rometron takes on full distribution, sales, and customer support. This approach will benefit farmers by combining Rometron’s direct product knowledge and technical resources with Croplands’ established market relationships and customer service network.

“Both Croplands and Rometron are committed to making sure farmers experience no disruption during this transition,” added Jeremy Rennick of Croplands Australia. “This handover strengthens our mutual dedication to Canadian agriculture and ensures WEED-IT users continue to receive the best in product access and service.”
