Titan expands Goodyear R14T range

Titan International will be introducing larger sizes of the existing Goodyear R14T tire for use on sprayers and combines. The new Goodyear R14T product lines will be on site at the upcoming Farm Progress Show in Boone, IA USA.

The larger Goodyear R14T tire sizes provide several key benefits for sprayers and combines. These include lower rolling resistance, allowing savings on fuel and making it cost-effective.

Also roadability is improved, as a result of the higher lug to void ratio in the tire center which helps reduce vibration and provides a more efficient and quieter ride for machine operators. This ratio also allows for less ground surface destruction in the field.

When compared to other crossover tires, cleanout is better due to additional space between shoulder lugs.

Finally, the R14T provides enhanced stability and greater hillside traction for challenging terrains, especially when maneuvering combines on hills during the harvest season.  When compared to an R4, the Goodyear R14T has 15-20% less rolling resistance.

In addition to acquiring the Carlstar Group earlier this year and the rollout of updated TGS2 tires, introducing larger sizes of the Goodyear R14T tire is the latest of Titans’ many product investments.

This year’s Farm Progress attendees will have the opportunity to see the larger Goodyear R14T sizes the Hagie Cornstar sprayer.
