At 61 feet (18.6 meter) wide with 50-inch (1.25 meter) deep, MacDon introduces the highest capacity FlexDraper is has ever produced. Compared to the 50-foot FD250 model, the FD261 gives an additional 22% of overall capacity.
The FD261 FlexDraper is a fully flexing 61-foot draper header. The close reel-to-cutterbar relationship ensures efficient heads-first crop flow over the entire 61-foot span of the header.
MacDon’s ground-following ability continues with the FD2. It provides true ground following flex over its full width. Flex-Float technology gets turned up with the optional ContourMax contour wheels. These wheels allow the header to follow the field’s contours, leaving a consistent stubble height while cutting from 1 to 18 inches (2.5 – 45.7) cm off the ground.
The ClearCut high-speed cutting system delivers clean cutting at up to 30% faster speeds compared to the previous models. The improved knife drive with more power and new knife section geometry provides 25% more cutting surface. A smooth close shave comes from two unique ClearCut knife guards.
