Stara Imperador goes Down Under

Last August, Stara from Brazil took part in AgQuip, the largest agricultural trade fair in Australia. The company’s Imperador 4000 self-propelled sprayer was launched in the country for the first time, which positively attracted the audience.

“We’re expanding our horizons”, Stara CEO Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl stated. “It is the first time we have brought a sprayer to Australia. It is such a great surprise to a continent we have been exporting to. We expect that the Imperador in particular, due to its central booms, stability of booms, and the machine weight distribution will be a success in Australia, like it is in other countries”.

Stara is represented in Oceania through “Croplands” and “Collier & Miller”. According to the Stapelbroek,  these companies hold the same values as Stara, which is a crucial asset. “We noticed that our partners provide service for spare parts and after-sales, and this is similar to our values.”

According to Douglas Fernandes,  commercial representative of Stara in South Africa and Oceania, numerous visitors were surprised by the company’s technology.  “Stara’s participation in the show was really positive. The machines caught a lot of attention during the visits, especially the Imperador line, which resulted in good expectations.”

Stara’s participation in one more international agricultural event, shows the brand’s strengthening in the international market. Currently, Stara exports to five continents and provides machines and technology to farmers in each corner of the world.
