Grimme parts center in operation

Grimme has centralized its spare parts logistics and the distribution of Grimme Original Parts at its Rieste site in Germany. To this end, a former e-bike factory, taken over by Grimme in 2025, was converted into a modern parts center with workshop space and office facilities.

The new site is conveniently located directly on the A1 motorway and is Grimme’s second site in the Niedersachsen industrial park area.

With more than 12,000 different items, the company ensures a high level of parts availability. Thanks to modern logistics and warehousing systems, order-picking efficiency has increased by 40 per cent and delivery speed by 20 per cent.

With the new parts center, Grimme is improving the supply of Original Parts to its more than 400 sales and service partners, as well as to over 30 of its own sites worldwide, in line with demand. A spacious express pick-up area enables sales partners and end customers to collect Grimme Original Parts, ordered in advance via specialist dealers, around the clock.

At the same time, the consolidation creates clear structures at both sites: the capacity freed up at the logistics center of the main plant in Damme, will in future be entirely dedicated to supplying materials for production and manufacturing.

“Just in time for the harvest season, we have, together with over 60 dedicated employees, brought the new parts centre into operation on schedule”, explains Christoph Grimme. “This enables us to supply our customers and sales partners with original parts even more quickly and flexibly. By acquiring adjacent properties, we have already laid the foundations for future expansion”.
