Bednar flashing back on 2025

The past business year was a period of intense work, strategic decisions and important milestones for Bednar. “Despite the volatile situation on the market, we focused on developing new products, strengthening relationships and further improving production quality”, say sales director Jan Bednář and production director Vojtěch Bednář.

From a business perspective, 2024/2025 was a dynamic year, largely focused on supporting key product segments, especially seed drills. One of the most significant steps was the launch of the Drill Masters project, a comprehensive platform to support Bednar seeding technology.

Drill Masters is based on customer references from various countries around the world, their experiences with Bednar seed drills and practical agronomic results. Authentic stories from real life are one of the strongest arguments for customers when making decisions today. Currently, the five largest markets for Bednar include Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Australia, and Czech Republic.

“From a production perspective, 2024/2025 was primarily about stability, optimization and preparing for the future. Despite the reduced performance of the production lines, we managed to maintain two-shift operation at the production plant”, the Bednář officials day.

“During the period of lower capacity, we focused specifically on improving production quality, optimizing processes and internal efficiency. We used this time to review production procedures, plan and prepare new projects that will have an impact in the coming years.”

AI as an employee partner

“Artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly important role in production and planning at Bednar”, the senior executives continue. “AI is gradually being incorporated into production management, forecasting, capacity planning and logistics flow optimization. We see it as an important tool that helps us respond to changing conditions and increase competitiveness.

At the same time, we are working on new end-user-oriented projects, including the MyBednar application. This aims to become a modern digital tool for Bednar machine owners, combining technology, service, data and user comfort into a single entity.

Despite the current geopolitical situation, the crisis in a number of markets and the unstable mood among farmers, we believe that the situation will take a turn for the better again”, Jan Bednář and Vojtěch Bednář conclude.
