Metsjö presents the next step in the development of flexible transport solutions, with the launch of the MetaFlex 40–60. This new hook-lift trailer combines strength, low weight, and advanced engineering. It is EU type-approved.
At the heart of the machine is a 1050 mm telescopic tower, allowing the use of a wide range of container models while ensuring optimal weight transfer to the tractor. The design provides a compact and stable transport unit with excellent balance and maneuverability.
The MetaFlex 40–60 features a telescopic tipping system, offering fast tipping performance and only 3,100 kg unladen weight. This results in a light, fuel-efficient hook-lift trailer that delivers high capacity with minimal ground pressure.
The trailer handles container lengths from 4 to 6 meters and is optimized for 5.2-meter roll containers. Equipped with hydraulic suspension and chassis leveling up to 35 cm, as well as laser-aligned axles, the MetaFlex ensures precision and comfort even in demanding terrain. It delivers a standard tipping force of 17 tons and a hooking force of 18 tons, and comes standard with hydraulic shift between tipping and loading mode, as well as a hydraulic support leg. A front hitch with adjustable drawbar height is also standard, allowing easy adaptation to different tractors, wheel sizes and working conditions.
The MetaFlex 40–60 is EU type-approved for 40 and 60 km/h and is compatible with European standard containers. With a gross vehicle weight of 20 tonnes and the option of a steering rear axle, the model offering a compact, and flexible hook-lift trailer for modern agriculture and contracting operations.
