Autonomous cultivation record

An autonomous AgXeed AgBot T2-7, working in combination with a Väderstad Carrier XL 625 cultivator, covered 80 hectares corn stubble field in just 20 hours. This operation was completed from the 16th – 17th of December 2025 in the Uckermark region in North-Eastern Germany.

With challenging field shapes including landscape elements and hills, the run was performed under real life conditions on loamy sandy soil.

The AgBot T2-7 features a 230 hp diesel-electric drivetrain and operates at working speeds between 9 and 12 km/h. Thanks to its track system, the machine keeps moving steadily where wheeled tractors may struggle. The large contact surface of the tracks provides  low ground pressure, helping to protect soil structure and safeguard future yields.

The AgBot T2-7 is designed to directly compete with a standard tractor for key field applications. It can carry out soil cultivation, seedbed preparation, seeding, and stubble cultivation, or mulching fully autonomously.  Planning and control were handled through the AgXeed TraXwise planning portal. This portal enables users to pre-plan the complete task in advance and monitor the AgBot in real time, giving full transparency of the work.

This setup with the ability to work consistently 24 hours a day, ensures maximum effectiveness and efficiency when time windows are tight.
