BKT plant health & safety awarded

BKT has been recognized with the ‘Sword of Honour 2025’ award by the British Safety Council. This award acknowledges BKT’s commitment to high Health & Safety management, recognizing the achievements of the company’s flagship production plant in Bhuj, India.

BKT was selected as one of 70 applicants who achieved the ‘Sword of Honour’, which is awarded to companies that have demonstrated excellence in the management of health and safety risks at work. The company has obtained a Five Star Audit Report, the maximum rating in British Safety Council’s management audit scheme. Following these results, BKT has been recognized with a hand-crafted stainless-steel ceremonial sword, specially created for the 2025 award winners.

Peter McGettrick, Chairman of British Safety Council, said: “On behalf of the Board of Trustees and all staff of the British Safety Council, I would like to congratulate BKT on achieving the highest standards within its health and safety management. Achieving recognition of this kind involves full dedication and professionalism. We are proud to support you in your achievements and are delighted that we can contribute to your ongoing success.”

This award is a further demonstration of BKT’s commitment in promoting health and safety at the workplace in the light of the outstanding results achieved at the  company’s major production plant: the Bhuj site.
