Väderstad launches E-Connect, a telematics solution designed to transform the way farmers manage their operations. E-Connect offers a digital tool to monitor and manage Väderstad machinery in real time.

With complete visibility into fleet activity and machine performance, users can track field work progress, analyse operational efficiency, and make informed decisions based on accurate, up-to-date data. The system is designed with seamless integration in mind, allowing it to connect with major Farm Management Systems (FMS). This ensures that machine data becomes a valuable part of the broader farm planning and analysis ecosystem.

“Väderstad E-Connect is our telematics solution for real-time fleet monitoring, machine insights, and field work tracking. E-Connect turns machine data into decisions, helping the farmer to optimize performance, reduce downtime, and maximize field efficiency”, says David Askenteg, Director Smart Machines, at Väderstad.

“The owner of a compatible Väderstad machine will be able to setup a user account, and login to the E-Connect portal”,  Askenteg proceeds. “In the portal the farmer will be able to add his/her machines and invite co-workers at the farm.

We have designed E-Connect with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, allowing farmers to quickly access and interpret data. E-Connect will be seamlessly integrated with major Farm Management Systems.

E-Connect features an intuitive interface, giving farmers the flexibility to manage their operations on the go. Whether it’s optimizing machine performance, reducing downtime, or improving field productivity, it is designed to help farms operate at their full potential.

E-Connect will be available for Väderstad seed drills, planters and tillage equipment machines fitted with a connected gateway, and it will be available from the beginning of 2026. Väderstad E-Connect will premiere at Agritechnica 2025.
