Kverneland Group and DAT cooperate

Kverneland Group and Dimensions Agri Technologies (DAT) from Norway entered into partnership and collaboration to accelerate the market for precision spraying systems. The cooperation aims to enable the installation of the DAT Ecopatch on Kverneland sprayers. DAT Ecopatch will be available in selected European markets with expansion to follow.

The system is already mounted on several Kverneland sprayers in Norway, Germany and the Netherlands. Key benefits of the DAT Ecopatch system are lower use of herbicides, increased yields, and an improved environmental footprint. The system uses sensor technology with AI for precise herbicide application during growth season (Green-on-Green) in cereals.

“Agriculture is experiencing both economic and environmental pressure, and this cooperation will make the DAT Ecopatch solution available for more farmers”, says Kristian Kaurstad Morten, CEO of DAT. “Following a constructive dialogue with Kverneland Group related to the initial installations in Norway, we are excited to enter an official cooperation to complement and strengthen our distribution. With Norwegian origin, Kverneland combines local heritage with a global reach.”

Dirk-Jan Stapel, Director Marketing & Sales of the Kverneland Arable Systems Division says: “With the assurance of the DAT Ecopatch system working on our Kverneland field sprayers, we would like to enable our customers to make use and benefit from the DAT Ecopatch system. In the digital world and with advanced spraying technologies, cooperation is the key to enable customers to work with their preferred solution. We are happy to have been able to facilitate the integration of the DAT system on our Kverneland sprayers, so that the communication between the Kverneland interface and DAT Ecopatch is guaranteed.”

DAT and Kverneland will cooperate on marketing activities, for example on exhibitions or field days. The cooperation will also include extension to additional crop types and new market introductions. The DAT Ecopatch system will be distributed and supported via the international DAT network. Kverneland field sprayers will be, as usual, supported and distributed via the Kverneland dealer network.
