Trioliet is launching three new models in the top segment of its Solomix 2 feed mixer range. The 2200, 2600 and 2800 models will be added to the segment for two-auger feed mixers between 20 m³ and 30 m³, with a capacity of 22 m³, 26 m³ and 28 m³, respectively.

These feed mixers boast a large volume and a compact design while being highly manoeuvrable. The short distance between the towing eye and the front chassis makes it a suitable feed mixer for farms where space is at a premium. In addition, the relatively low-slung mixing tub ensures that the machine can be loaded quickly while maintaining a good overview of the operation. The low machine height is of major benefit in stables with a low height.

The Solomix 2 range can be delivered in volumes from 10 m³ to 36 m³. There is increasing global demand for Solomix models with a capacity of 20 m³ or more.

With the addition of these three models, the Solomix 2 range offering a capacity of 20 m³ and more now consists of eight different volumes: from 20 m³ to 36 m³.

All models are available with side discharge doors at the front or rear or a front or rear discharge unit with a cross conveyor belt or cross conveyor chain. Models with side discharge doors are equipped as standard with two discharge doors – at the front left and front right – for optimum visibility during the discharge process. The robust discharge doors with two cylinders are located on the side of the vehicle instead of in the curvature, which guarantees even discharge. Suspension is available as a single axle or  tandem pendulum axle.

A wide range of options is available for the new Solomix 2 models, including the Shifttronic 2-speed automatic reduction gearbox, which is easy to control using an app. The feed mixer automatically switches gears based on the weight in the mixing tub, ensuring that the auger speed is always optimum. This results in a shorter mixing time and lower power requirement.
