Massey Ferguson has achieved ISO 14001 Certification for its Environmental Management System (EMS) at its Beauvais, France operations, global facility for the design and manufacturing of MF tractors.

ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that provides companies with a framework to help identify, monitor and control their environmental performance through efficient resource consumption, waste minimization and impacts reduction, based on their own priorities and target.

Awarded at the end of January 2024 by Apave, the certification of the Beauvais, France Massey Ferguson Campus EMS by most recognised standards globally, demonstrates AGCO’s commitments to reducing the environmental footprint of its operations and services, as well as to taking concrete action to fight climate change.

“We are committed to setting near-term operations-wide emission reductions. Achieving ISO 14001 certification helps advance sustainable practices across all areas of our footprint, including water, waste, energy and emissions” said Thierry Lhotte, Vice-President & Managing Director MF Europe & Middle East.

“By developing a formal EMS that is ISO 14001 certified, our distributors, dealers and end-customers can be assured that we’re complying to best practices that manage and minimize our impact on the environment, as well as provide customers with solutions to support their transition to more sustainable practices. It is an important accomplishment and the direct result of the commitment and hard work by our teams.”

During recent years, Corporate Social Responsibility has been an integral part of AGCO’s strategy. Ever since 2023, the Massey Ferguson brand has committed to operating as a responsible business and defined 4 sustainability pillars with ambitious objectives to guide all its practices and business growth. “Our 4 sustainable growth pillars include sustainable solutions for farmers, sustainable operations, people potential & engagement and value creation in our local ecosystem.”, adds Thierry Lhotte. “The ISO 14001 certification underpins our goals of reducing operations environmental footprint and adds to the ISO 9001 Certification awarded since July 2015. It demonstrates the establishment of the best possible and sustainable organization with a quality management system.”, concludes Thierry Lhotte.
