The DLG (German Agricultural Society) will be presenting its new “FarmRobotix” concept at this year’s DLG Feldtage field exhibition for crop cultivation in Erwitte, Germany. An international platform, FarmRobotix will offer farming experts a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and digital solutions in crop production.
The FarmRobotix platform was conceived by the DLG in order to meet the needs of farmers, manufacturers, start-ups and suppliers of technology for a comprehensive and practical overview of farm robotics that aids decision-making for the farm and offers impetus for product development. Also attracting representatives from science and research as well as development engineers, investors and venture capitalists who come to network, transfer know-how and explore innovative technologies, FarmRobotix promotes business networking in an emerging industry that has the potential to transform agricultural production.
In the future, the FarmRobotix platform will offer visitors to DLG’s international trade fairs and events a forum for know-how transfer and networking. EuroTier, trade fair for livestock management, and agricultural machinery exhibition Agritechnica, are just two events that will feature FarmRobotix, showcasing the application options of innovative technologies in all areas of agriculture.
For the premiere at DLG Feldtage, Farmrobotix will combine exhibition, technical program and live technology demonstrations. On each of the three exhibition days, farm robots will be performing tasks on a dedicated demonstration area, offering practical insights into the operation of autonomous agricultural vehicles and associated equipment.
The exhibition area will be presenting automated and digital solutions for agricultural applications as well as sensor technologies. Renowned experts in their presentations will be updating DLG Feldtage visitors on using artificial intelligence in agriculture and machine learning to increase yields and efficient resource management. Further expert talks on the integration of robotics, automation and AI in various agricultural business models will demonstrate profitability in practice. FarmRobotix offers farmers, researchers, industry experts and technology providers the opportunity to exchange experience and best practices.
For companies interested in participating in the FarmRobotix platform, and exhibition stand can be booked located on grass alongside the equipment demonstrations and the international Field Robots Event for young students, a practical farm robot contest with tasks like weed recognition and navigation through crop rows.
The DLG Feldtage is the venue for crop production professionals, which this year takes place at the Brockhof Estate, located in the heart of the Soester Börde region, Germany. From 11 to 13 June 2024, the DLG Feldtage will focus on “Crop production out of the box”, a guiding theme that is aimed at practitioners looking for innovative solutions to adapt profitably to changing conditions like new economic and political requirements and consumer demands.
