By investing in a new fleet of AGV robots at the Klepp factory in Norway, Kverneland Group demonstrates its commitment to both technology and health and safety. These robots not only enhance productivity and efficiency by navigating autonomously through the use of sensors and advanced software, but they also promote a safer and healthier working environment.

After thorough testing, warehouse manager Heine Vigre can conclude that the new AGV (automated Guided Vehicle) robots at the Kverneland Group Klepp factory have been successfully installed. The robots are responsible for transporting up to 1000 KG of material from inbound to outbound at the Kverneland Group Klepp factory which produces ploughs for worldwide distribution.

‘’Safety First is our most important value’’; continues Heine Vigre. ‘’The new AGV robots will reduce the risk of accidents and injuries, as they are equipped with advanced safety features and can operate in hazardous environments. This will help to create a safer work environment for the employees, as the robots automatically stop if something gets in their way’’.

These robots have not only helped improve safety but have also freed up recourses that can be used elsewhere in the warehouse. It was important that the robots increased accuracy and  optimized the tasks at hand. Productivity has increased as a result of being able to handle these tasks in an efficient manner.

By installing these robots, Kverneland Group showcases its commitment to providing a safe work environment for the employees at the factory as well as its dedication to technology, innovation and digitalization.
