Valtra VIEW increases safety

Vision-based Intelligent Electronic Warnings (VIEW) is a new feature, released for the 10-year anniversary of Valtra Unlimited. It is a camera-based support system for tractor operators that increases safety both in traffic and on the field.

VIEW automatically detects traffic crossing in front of the tractor when driving with front implements such as front tanks, snow ploughs, and mowers, etc.

The system displays three views showing the left, right, and rear camera perspectives. It automatically switches to the rear camera when the tractor is reversing and automatically displays the two front camera views when the turn signal is on. When reversing, a rear camera detects humans and traffic behind the tractor to avoid accidents.

“The Unlimited VIEW solution is an excellent example of the future vision of Valtra Unlimited as we focus more and more on developing intelligent solutions that serve customer needs.” Says Senior Manager, Brand Management, Unlimited Operations, Petri Loukiala.

VIEW uses ISOBUS information and machine learning algorithms to identify hazards and notify the driver. Operator stress levels are lowered as the high-resolution monitor displays information and visual notifications to the driver in an intuitive way. Camera views and acoustic notifications can be changed on the go. This Unlimited option is available, factory fitted, via the Unlimited Studio, where customers can also have additional cameras and other optional accessories fitted.
