Alliance, a leading global brand in agricultural and off-highway tires, has expanded its Agriflex+ 363 XT and Agriflex+ 363 row-crop series with six new versions featuring higher load indices. This expansion addresses the progressive increase in the size and capacity of self-propelled sprayers.

Modern sprayers carry larger tanks and are equipped with longer booms. Consequently, tires are subjected to increasing loads, making machine stability critical, even when working at full load with fully extended booms. With these new specifications, Alliance provides original equipment manufacturers, dealers, and agricultural machinery operators with additional equipment options to carry out any job safely.

The six new versions include five sizes of the Agriflex+ 363 XT model and one size of the Agriflex+ 363 model. All of them are VF radial tires with R-1 tread patterns, designed for use on narrow row crops and included in the September 2026 Alliance price list.

Higher load capacity for evolving sprayers: Alliance’s recipe

The higher load indices are engineered to meet the increased operating weights of next-generation sprayers. When required by the application, these tires can be operated at the higher inflation pressures specified in Alliance’s technical data. The robust sidewall ensures machine stability under load, while the higher carrying capacity allows operators to make productive use of larger tanks.

Correct inflation pressure remains a critical factor. Operators must adjust inflation pressure based on actual axle load, speed, and tire specifications, rather than adopting a single pressure for all operating conditions. This enables the VF casing to operate within its intended load and pressure design window, helping to ensure reliable performance both in the field and on the road.

Typically, row-crop sprayers operate along dedicated tracks within precision farming systems. Guiding machines along these pre-established paths prevents tire passes outside the tramlines, thereby protecting crops. The new versions with higher load indices allow users to select tires suited to this operational setup, even as sprayer capacities grow.

According to Alliance, the range expansion offers sprayer operators and dealers the following benefits:

  • Higher carrying capacity: The new load indices meet the demands of larger tanks and heavier operating weights.
  • Stability under load: The approved inflation pressure range ensures the high sidewall stiffness required by high-capacity sprayers and long booms.
  • A broader row-crop choice: Five new Agriflex+ 363 XT fitments and one Agriflex+ 363 fitment expand the lineup, covering rim diameters ranging from 32 to 54 inches.
  • Support for precision farming: Narrow-section VF tires are designed for sprayers operating between crop rows and along designated tramlines.
