Case IH distributor Gaalooge Agro-Business Enterprise has received the Best Agricultural Equipment Company award at Agricultural Night 2026, an event held on October 8 at the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation Campus in Mogadishu, Somalia.
The recognition was presented by the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation of the Federal Government of Somalia, highlighting Gaalooge’s efforts to strengthen the availability of agricultural machinery, genuine spare parts and technical services in the country.
Sponsored by IBS Bank, Agricultural Night 2026 brought together farmers, agricultural businesses, potential customers and industry stakeholders to discuss opportunities for the development of Somalia’s agricultural sector.
Strengthening Case IH’s Presence in Somalia
During the event, Gaalooge showcased two Case IH tractors alongside a selection of spare parts, emphasizing the importance of reliable equipment and effective aftersales support for local farming operations.
The exhibition provided an opportunity to engage directly with farmers and demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting agricultural productivity through mechanization.
For Case IH, the award represents another milestone in its partnership with Gaalooge, which continues to develop its local distribution and service network despite the challenges facing the Somali agricultural machinery market.
“Gaalooge’s dedication and long-term vision for agribusiness are what make this achievement particularly meaningful,” said Valerio Domenici, Marketing Manager and Business Manager of Case IH Middle East & Africa. “Even in a challenging market, the team continues to invest, progress and look beyond short-term results. This recognition is a testament to their commitment to the development of agricultural mechanization in Somalia.”
Supporting Agricultural Mechanization and Farmer Productivity
Beyond the award ceremony, Agricultural Night 2026 offered Gaalooge an opportunity to establish new business contacts and identify potential customers interested in modern agricultural equipment.
The distributor plans to follow up with farmers through technical consultations, product demonstrations, equipment quotations and information on available machinery and services.
As Somalia works to develop its agricultural sector, access to dependable machinery, spare parts and technical expertise remains an important factor in improving farm efficiency and productivity.
Through their ongoing partnership, Case IH and Gaalooge aim to expand the availability of agricultural equipment and strengthen local aftersales capabilities, contributing to the long-term development of mechanized farming in Somalia.
