Kverneland introduces the new generation Tactus 2072 and Tactus 2078 double‑rotor rotary rakes. These have been designed to deliver high efficiency, clean and good quality forage, as well as provide operator comfort.
The Kverneland Tactus 2072 offers flexible working widths from 6.4 to 7.2 m, while the Tactus 2078 covers working widths from 7.0 to 7.8 m. This makes both models suited to a wide range of applications, combining high capacity with high maneuverability in both small and large fields.
Thanks to their design and the TerraLink Plus ground contour‑following system, the Tactus rakes perform well on uneven, hilly terrain as well as on flat fields, ensuring consistent, clean raking results in all conditions.
The new Tactus series is equipped with the proven DUO tine system, featuring curved 9.5 mm tines that rake the crop in two rows, delivering:

Curved tine arms further enhance crop lifting, minimize leaf loss, and support the formation of airy, well‑shaped swaths.

High headland clearance, a stable rear frame, and compact transport dimensions ensure safe, comfortable operation both in the field and on the road.
Reliability and reduced maintenance requirements are key design principles of the new Tactus range. The CompactLine gearbox, with its oil‑immersed cam track and oil‑greased tine‑arm bearings, ensures smooth operation, long service life, and low operating costs.
Practical details such as easy coupling, durable indicators, and an extensive option package, including hydraulic transport locks, allow operators to customize the machine to their specific needs.
