The latest generation of the 6-row REXOR 6300 beet harvester with a bunker capacity of 45 m³ is equipped with the latest cab generation. In addition, the new IBX 200 ISOBUS auxiliary control unit is installed on the left armrest in the cab. The motor unit has been redesigned for ease of maintenance and accessibility.
The GRIMME REXOR 6300 is equipped with the new Claas X 11 cab and offers a modern and comfortable workplace. The air-conditioned driver’s seat can be rotated by 30°, and ensures an ergonomic view of the collection vehicle or the rental. In addition, the driver has footrests to the left and right of the steering column for a comfortable seating position.
The new cab also has storage options including a mobile phone holder, a drinks cooler compartment under the passenger seat and USB ports. In addition, the cab is very quiet as a result of optimised sound insulation and is always comfortable thanks to the sun blinds and the new 2 climate zone concept ‘warm feet, cool head’. The new filter concept protects the driver from external influences such as exhaust fumes or dust. The electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors with modified mirror geometry make it even easier to see the surroundings of the entire machine. This allows the machine to be manoeuvred comfortably and safely.
Manoeuvring lighting and the SideView camera package are available for all-round visibility, even at dusk and in the dark. The manoeuvring lighting is an additional LED light that switches on and off depending on the speed. The safety of road users is significantly increased, especially when driving on the road or during confusing manoeuvres (roundabouts, entrances/exits). Additional lighting illuminates the digging area of the machine even more during harvesting and ensures improved visibility.
The SideView package also includes two additional cameras at the left and right rear of the machine and is fully integrated into the SmartView video system. The images from the SideView and the reversing camera are displayed simultaneously on a monitor, increasing clarity when manoeuvring and reducing the risk of collisions.
Operating and assistance systems
The new, optionally available ISOBUS IBX 200 is available as an additional operator unit on the left armrest. This operator unit is equipped with two joysticks and a variety of haptic and freely assignable control elements. The occupancy and status indication is shown on the 7.8-inch display. The left-hand control element is mainly used for the overloading process during harvesting or for unloading at the clamp. The left armrest can be folded up for easy access and exit.
With the Speedtronic-Cruise assistance system presented at Agritechnica 2023, the forward speed of the beet harvester is actively controlled for the first time. Based on the selected driving mode, the machine automatically regulates the harvesting speed depending on the crop load through different parts of the harvester. In combination with the standard Speedtronic for the conveying and cleaning unit, this corresponds to an almost autonomous beet harvest within the row.
Revised design
The motor unit has been redesigned for the new generation of the REXOR 6300. The new drive component arrangement has improved accessibility and therefore the ease of servicing and maintenance. The cooling concept has been revised to significantly improve engine cooling. All relevant engine components are easily accessible via the large maintenance flaps. Due to the redesign of the motor unit, the access to the bunker is now positioned to the side of the ring elevator. From there, the driver can safely enter the bunker to carry out maintenance work on the bunker and the engine unit. The plastic hopper lining on the sides of the bunker for the best possible crop protection is still available and reduces tip breakage and damage during unloading.
