The Triotrac self-propelled diet feeder from Trioliet has been known with dairy farmers and contractors for many years. However, the new heavy duty X-range features improvements to meet customers’ needs even better. The new self-propelled diet feeder is available in 28 m³ and 32 m³ mixing tub capacity and cutting height of no less than 8 meters.
Feed prices are constantly on the rise. As a result, it becomes increasingly important to maintain the quality of roughage and to keep losses as low as possible. Ensiling roughage demands time and energy, so it’s essential that feed quality is properly maintained. This is perfectly achievable nowadays, and the method used to extract the silage plays a big role here.
The new Triotrac X-range comes with a telescopic cutting-loading system with discharge height of up to 8 meters, extra wide discharge belt conveyor, heavy duty mixing tub with Trionox lining, X-Range auger drive with heavy planetary drives and heavy axles with 6x 445/65 R22.5 tires.
The cutting-loading system leaves an optimal vertical cutting surface on the silage. This prevents silage from heating up, avoids rainwater seeping into the stack, and prevents crumbling. All possible types of feed can be loaded very quickly and accurately in this way, including large round or square bales.
The mixing and dosing system is made up of the Trioliet double vertical auger system. The specially designed mixing chamber also pushes the feed in a horizontal direction, and this dual-flow principle results in perfect mixing. The electronic weighing system can be delivered with the TFM feed management programme, which allows straightforward listing and monitoring of the feed served.
The 6-cylinder, 270 HP FPT common rail diesel engine and the I-control ensure fuel efficiency. The engine is also mounted on a special rail, which makes maintenance easier. The comfortable and spacious cab features hydraulic vertical adjustment and guarantees the best possible view.
